rebecca schwartz

Becky is studying trends in the southern California sport fishing catch over the last 70 years, and looking at how those trends relate to both anthropogenic and environmental parameters.

danielle carter

Danielle used stable isotope enrichment techniques to track the movement of shoredrift into terrestrial food webs on islands in the Gulf of California. She is working an analysis/writing right now, while also serving as an educator at the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla.

anai novoa

Anai (with whom I was lucky enough to work since she was a 9th grader at Hoover High School) is working on a longitudinal analysis of bivalve communities in southern California wetlands, leveraging some studies going back as far as the 1960s. She will be defending this Fall!
